Vacuum Technician
Coating service and equipment manufacturer based on high tech PVD coating and surface engineering technologies located in Missoula, MT seeks dynamic, self directed, “HANDS-ON” technician/operator with 5+ years of experience in the field of vacuum deposition (PVD/CVD).
Requirements: Magnetron and/or cathodic arc process experience, a full understanding of vacuum system design, operations and maintenance required. Electrical-electronic controls and bias (DC-RF) supply experience very desirable.
Responsibilities: running daily production per product quality specifications, maintenance and repair of vacuum system components, assist in design and fabrication of substrate holding fixtures. Assist in facility modifications to improve existing conditions adding extra capacity or installation of new capital purchases.
Ideal candidate will understand thin film coatings, have excellent communication skills, computer literacy and eye for detail.
